It is with deep sadness that Lily’s family share the news of her death on Saturday, December 14, 2024. Lily is predeceased by her beloved husband Ned, daughter Catherine Hynes, son Edward, parents Michael and Catherine and by her brother Michael. Reunited in love.
Very sadly missed by her heartbroken son and daughter Patrick and Máire, adored grandchildren Siobhán Nalty, Alan, Liam and Seán Hynes and Molly and Lily Welham. Deeply loved also by her sisters Bridie and Kathleen, daughter-in-law Carmen, sons-in-law Brendan and Matt, the extended Nalty and Hallinan family, wonderful neighbours and amazing friends.
Reposing at ‘Áras Naofa’ within the grounds of the Church of St. Oliver Plunkett, Renmore on Wednesday, December 18 from 5 p.m. with Removal at 6.30 p.m. to the adjacent Church. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Lily on Thursday at 12 noon and following Mass she will be laid to rest in Rahoon cemetery.
