The sudden death has occurred of Liam Dowling, formerly of Cappagh, Strokestown, Co. Roscommon
Liam passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and friends on Saturday 01 June in the tender care of the staff of critical care department University College Hospital,Galway. Beloved husband to Anne (née Callaghan). Amazing one of a kind father to Emily and Brian. Predeceased by his infant daughter Niamh, parents John and Emily and sister Emily. He will be very sadly missed by his loving wife and children, brothers and sisters Kay, Frank, Pat, Mary and Stan. Sadly missed also by his heartbroken brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, niece, relatives, neighbours and especially by his dear friends.
A man fond of a good story, a good laugh and great times spent with wonderful family and friends.
Reposing at the O’ Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, H91V1K8 on Thursday, 6 June, from 5 p.m. with Removal at 7 p.m. to St. Mary’s Church, Claddagh. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Liam on Friday, 7 June, at 10 a.m and following Mass he will be laid to rest with his baby daughter Niamh in Rahoon Cemetery.
