The death has occurred of Leo Creane, Cardinal Cushing Road, Mervue, Galway / Bohermore, Galway.
Leo passed away peacefully at Galway University Hospital with his dearly loved family by his side.
Dearly beloved husband of the late Bridie and much-loved father of Barbara, Paul, Michelle, Ester, John, Dympna and Joseph.
Deeply mourned and sadly missed by his children, seventeen cherished grandchildren, great -grandson and great granddaughter, nephews and nieces, sisters Lily and Pauline, brothers Patrick and Peter.
Leo will also be fondly remembered by his sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, the extended Creane and Cooke family, lovely neighbours and friends.
Funeral Arrangements
Monday March 31, 2025 - Reposing at the Church of the Holy Family, funeral parlour, Mervue from 5.00 p.m. with Removal to the adjoining Church at 6.30 p.m.
Tuesday April 1, 2025 - Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Leo at 11.00 a.m. Following Mass he will be laid to rest with his beloved Bridie in Rahoon cemetery.
Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Leo to the Galway Hospice.
House private please on Sunday.
