John died in the early hours of Saturday, 12 October at Galway University Hospital with family by his side. Beloved son of the late John (Cowboy) and the late Cecilia McDonagh and much-loved brother of the late Tommy and Gerard and uncle of the late Nathan. Remembering all his relatives at this time. May they rest in peace.
Deeply mourned and sadly missed by all his heartbroken brothers and sisters and their families, the extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at St. Pio's Room within the Church of the Sacred Heart, Seamus Quirke Road, Galway on Wednesday, 16 October, 2024 from 5.30 p.m. Removal into the Church at 7.00 p.m. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for John on Thursday, 17 October, at 10.00 a.m. Following Mass he will be laid to rest in Rahoon Cemetery, close to his home.
May his kind and gentle soul rest in peace.
