Formerly of Thomand Gate, Limerick. John died peacefully in the early hours of Tuesday, September 24, 2024 surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his beloved wife Agnes and by his siblings Veronica and Bernie, Brendan and Christy.

 

Deeply loved by his sons and daughters, Seán Ó Ceallaigh (Caltra), Jean, Brian and Jackie, by his adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, much loved sons-in-law Seamus and Tony and daughters-in-law Mary and Margaret, sisters Mary and Peggy and sister-in-law Teresa Kelly. John will always be fondly remembered also by his nephews and nieces, the extended Kelly and Naughton family, neighbours and friends.

 

John will Repose at 'Áras Naofa' within the grounds of the Church of St. Oliver Plunkett, Renmore, Galway (H91 PX95) on Friday, September 27, from 5.00 p.m. Removal at 6.30 p.m. to the adjacent Church. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 28, at 11.00 a.m. Following Mass he will be laid to rest in Rahoon cemetery. House Private.

 

May he be reunited with his beloved wife Agnes.

Together may their kind and gentle souls rest in peace.
