John passed away peacefully in the loving care of the Staff of St. Joseph’s Ward and the Dunlo Ward, Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe and previously in the wonderful care of the Staff of Ballinderry Nursing Home, Kilconnell. Predeceased by his loving wife Georgina and twin sister Madie (Garvey). He will be sadly missed and forever loved by his son Padraic, sister Sr. Helen, brother Joe, brother in law Oliver, nephews, nieces and most especially Sarah, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Cappataggle Community Centre (H53 E685) on Monday, 26th February, from 5 pm with removal at 7 pm to St. Michael’s Church, Cappataggle (H53 X037). Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 12 noon which may be viewed online at https://www.mcnmedia.tv/camera/cappataggle-parish-church. Burial afterwards in Kilrickle Cemetery. House private, please.
