Peacefully at University College Hospital, Galway.
Predeceased by his wife Mary (nee Mulligan), his parents Denis and Ann, his brothers Fr. Michael and Patrick and his sisters Mary and Sheila.
Sadly missed by his sisters Kathleen (Oates), Christina (Chris Maher) and Theresa (Conway), brothers in law, sisters in law, numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at the premises of McElvaney Funeral Directors, Church Square, Monaghan (eircode H18K377) on Friday (26/01/2024) from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Removal from his home on Saturday (27/01/2024) at 10.30 a.m., arriving at St. Macartan’s Cathedral, Monaghan for funeral Mass at 11 a.m.
Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s cemetery, Magherarney.
