The death has occurred of John (Johnny) Courtney, Immanemore, Barnaderg, Tuam, Co. Galway. Peacefully in University Hospital Galway, surrounded by his loving family after an illness bravely borne. Predeceased by his parents Mary and Martin, his sisters Margaret, Kathleen (Costello), Teresa (Miskell) his nephew’s Paul and James Costello, and Martin Miskell.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Patricia, his adored children Laura, Joe, Martin, John, Patrick and Aidan, Daughter-in-law’s Katie and Claire, Patrick’s partner Maria and Aidan’s partner Emma, his cherished Grandchildren Cian, Cathal and Grace Courtney. Also, sadly missed by his Sister’s Sally Fahy and Ann Mannion, his Brother's Matt and Tom, his Brothers-in-law and Sisters-in-law, his Nieces, Nephews and all his extended family, friends and neighbours

Reposing in St. Anne’s Funeral Home, Barnaderg, Tuam (H54 AE79) on Saturday the 8th of February from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday in St. Mary's Church, Killererin (H54 WY44) at 2:30pm, burial afterwards in the Good Shepard Cemetery, Killererin.

Mass will be streamed live on the Killererin Church webcam https://www.churchtv.ie/killererin/.
