The death has occurred of Gerry Diamond, Kilcornan, Clarinbridge, Co. Galway and formerly of Bridge Street, Ballina.
Gerry passed away peacefully at Galway Hospice on Thursday, August 8th.
Beloved husband of Anne and brother of Ray. Gerry will be forever missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him, his in-laws, mother-in-law Mary, niece Ciara, Goddaughter Amy, relatives, extended family, neighbours and friends.
The family would like to sincerely thank Dr. Lorraine Mulkerrins and her team at the Gort Family Practice, all at the Clarinbridge Pharmacy, Professor Macon Keane and staff at the oncology unit at Galway University Hospital, Professor Trevor Markham at Galway Clinic, Dr. Martin at the Galway radiotherapy centres, and a special heartfelt thank you to all at the Galway Hospice.

Reposing at Suaimhneas on the grounds of the Church of the Annunciation, Clarinbridge (H91 HW58) on Sunday, August 11th from 5pm to 7pm. Removal to the Church of the Annunciation thereafter. Gerry's Requiem Mass will take place on Monday, the 12th of August, at 11.30am in the Church of the Annunciation, Clarinbridge (H91 HW58). Mass will be broadcast on parish radio 106.2FM and can be viewed on parish website http://clarinbridgeparish.ie Funeral afterwards to Shannon Crematorium at 2pm. (V14 PV30).
