Gerry N.T.; former principal of Cahergal N.S. Actor and leading member of the Tuam Theatre Guild. (Peacefully), surrounded by the love of his family in the wonderful care of the staff of Cuan Chaitríona Nursing Home, Castlebar,

 

Predeceased by his parents John (Jack) and Mary, his brothers Mattie, Jarlath, Michael, John Joseph, and his sisters Mary (Smyth), Imelda (Sweeney), Christina and Philomena.

 

Dearly loved and deeply missed by his beloved wife of 59 years Patricia, his children Feargal, Paula, Louise, Celine and Aodhán, his sons-in-law Richard Gillespie and Phylip ab Owain, daughters in law LeShawn Gee, Elizabeth Devine and Breda Barry, his brothers T.J. and John, sister Teresa (Woodside), his sisters in law, nieces, nephews, his beloved grandchildren Kieran, Gearóid, Gwydion, Finola, Arianrhod, Glesni and Mattie, extended family, former colleagues and many friends.

 

 

Gerry will repose at Grogan's Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Tuam, (H54 Y677) on Thursday evening from 6 o’c. Removal at 7 o’c to the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Tuam. Funeral mass on Friday at 12 o’c (noon). Burial afterwards in the New Cemetery, Newport Road, Castlebar.
