Gerry passed away, peacefully, in the Galway Hospice, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents James and Margaret and sister Margaret. Sadly missed by his loving wife Chrissie, his sons Eamon, Oliver and Alan and his daughter Yvonne, daughters-in-law Michelle, Carol and Anne, son-in-law Kieran, grandchildren Enda, Ciarán, Kelly, Caoimhe, Sarah, Aoife, Peter, Aidan, Íde and Ellie, brothers Sean (Ballinasloe), Michael (Ballinasloe), James (Clane) and sisters Maureen Allen (Edenderry), Noreen Stankard (Ballinasloe), Colette Muldoon (Mount Temple), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.
May Gerry Rest In Peace
Gerry will repose in Grenham’s Funeral Home, Ballinasloe (H53 HK15), on Saturday, the 4th of June, from 5pm to 7pm. Private removal on Sunday morning to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Creagh, for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, with burial afterwards in Creagh Cemetery.

You may not know me or remember me but Im John Kilmartin who was often in Gerry’s family home as a child when I was down at Kilmartins in Shralea. I have fond childhood memories and I pass on our condolences from Australia to the family
