Gerry passed away peacefully on Tuesday 10th of October 2023 in the care of the staff of Galway University Hospital, having been surrounded by the love and care of his family during his recent illness.

Gerry will be sadly missed and always remembered by his parents Stephen and Maisie and his children Colm, Eoin and Aislinn and their Mam, Karla.
Gerry will be deeply mourned by his brothers Mike and Stephen, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, members of the extended family, his neighbours, friends and his second family in the GAA.

Gerry will repose in Dignity Funeral Care, Funeral Home, Loughrea (H62 DV76) on Saturday, 14th of October, from 5pm to 7pm.
Funeral cortege will arrive at St Brendan’s Cathedral, Loughrea on Sunday, 15th October, at 11.40am for Requiem Mass for Gerry at 12noon.

Gerry will be laid to rest immediately after Mass in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Loughrea.
