Gene (in his 93rd year) passed peacefully from this life on Thursday 31st October 2024 after a short illness.

Predeceased by his baby son Dara, his brother Brian and his parents Gerald and Ursula.
Gene will be deeply missed and always remembered by his heartbroken wife Patricia, his sons Gene, Morgan and David, daughter Juliet, his daughter-in-laws Yvonne and Nora, son-in-law Tomás and his grandchildren Caoimhe, Sheena, Lea, Kian, Andrea, Killian and Zara.
Gene will be fondly remembered by his sister Hilary, cousin Garry, sisters-in-law Margaret Gallagher and Anne Mangan,
nieces, members of the extended family, neighbours and friends.

Gene will repose in Dignity Funeral Care, funeral home, on the grounds of Portumna Retirement Village (H53 AY18) on Saturday 2nd November from 5pm to 7pm.
Funeral cortege will arrive at St Brigid’s Church, Portumna on Sunday 3rd November at 10.15am for Mass for Gene at 10.30am.
Gene will be laid to rest in Calvary cemetery after Mass.
