Gabriel passed away peacefully in his 85th year on January 5, 2025, with his dearly loved family by his side and in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Dominic’s, Galway University Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Martin and Ellen, his siblings Mary Thornton, Patsy Dolan, Evelyn, Paul, Charlie and Gerard.
Gabriel will be forever loved and sadly missed by his sister Bernadette Garrett, brothers John and Michael, sisters-in-law Jacinta, Freda and Mary, his much-loved nieces and nephews and his cherished grandnieces and grandnephews, the extended Kearney and Tegarty family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91V1K8) on Thursday, January 09, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. 6.00 p.m. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Gabriel on Friday, January 10 at 11 a.m. on arrival at the Church of Christ the King, Salthill.
