Shanbally, Craughwell, Co.Galway and formerly of Barratoor, Kylebrack, Loughrea. Frank passed away peacefully at University Hospital Galway on Feb 9th 2025. Predeceased by his father Thomas Gardiner, brothers-in-law Harry Bowen Seán Drennan and Mícheal Donohue. Frank will be dearly missed by his heartbroken family, wife Gabriel, sons Tony, Gerry and Damien, his daughters Rhona (Hennessy) and Fiona (Hollingworth) his dear mother Mary Gardiner (in her103rd year) his nine sisters and two brothers, Bennie, Jody, Maisie, Tessie, Ann, Bridie, Agnes, Eva, Eileen Bernie and Rita. Frank will be forever remembered by his 11 grandchildren, Aaron, Ayla, Cuan, Isobel, Mia, James, Ellise, Ezra, Emma, Cian and Maisie, his daughters-in-law Noeleen, Monica and Valerie, his sons-in-law Luke and Peter. He will be fondly remembered by his close friends and neighbours in Craughwell and previous workmates at Crown Mervue, Galway.
Reposing at Cawley's Funeral Home (H91 W2V3) Craughwell on Wednesday Feb 12th from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral cortege will arrive at St. Colman's Church, Craughwell on Thursday Feb 13th for mass at 12 noon (Click here to view Mass LIVE) with burial afterwards in Ballymore Cemetery.
