Elton passed peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe, surrounded by his loving family, on the 17th of April, 2024. Predeceased by his adored father Joseph (Haslam). Elton will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family, mother Mary, brother Gary, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Elton will repose in Grenham's Funeral Home, Ballinasloe (H53 HK15) on Thursday, 18th of April, from 5pm, with removal at 7pm to St. Michael's Church, Ballinasloe. Requiem Mass for Elton will be celebrated on Friday at 1pm, followed by burial in Creagh Cemetery. Elton's Requiem Mass can be viewed via live stream on https://www.churchservices.tv/ballinasloe.
