Eileen passed away peacefully on Sunday 5th January 2025, surrounded by her loving family, in the care of the staff of Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe, Co Galway.

Pre-deceased by her husband Paddy Joe, her infant children Anna and Francis and her siblings Marie, Bridie, Mona, Lily, Patrick and Christy.
Eileen will be sadly missed and always remembered by her children, Gerry, Tony, Maura, Padraic and Donal, her daughter-in-laws Margaret, Catherine and Mary, her ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren, her sister-in-law Mary, nieces and nephews, members of the extended family, her neighbours and friends.

Eileen will repose in Áras Mhuire, New Inn, Ballinasloe (H53 H978) on Wednesday 8th of January at 5pm with removal to St Patrick's Church, Bullaun (H62 D327) at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday 9th at 12noon. Eileen will be laid to rest with Paddy Joe after Mass in the adjoining cemetery.
