Edward Joseph Egan (Joe) of Lissyconnor, Dunmore, Co Galway.
Peacefully at Aras Mhuire Community Nursing Unit, Tuam, in the presence of his devoted wife Delia and his loving family.
On 24th October 2023 in his 98th year.
Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Delia Egan, infant son Gerard, brother Charlie, sister in law Mary Rose and his nieces Mary & Essie.
Deeply missed by his devoted wife Delia of 69 years, his sons Tommy and Eddie Joe, his daughters Carmel (Comer), Bernadette (Raftery), Kathleen (Glynn), Josie (Silke), Delia (Healy), Fidelma (Killilea), Nuala (Mullins), Colette (Finnegan), Claire (Murphy) and Noelle (Gormley), sons in law, daughters in law.
Cherished Grandfather to 36 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren, his brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and many friends.
Reposing at Glynn's Funeral Home, Dunmore H54NY61 this Thursday evening from 6.00pm to 8.30pm followed by removal to The Church Of Our Lady & St. Nicholas Dunmore - H54Y573. Funeral Mass on Friday at 1pm followed by burial in Dunmore Cemetery.
The funeral mass will be available on the local parish website.
