Eddie died peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Moycullen Nursing Home with his loving family by his side. Beloved husband of the late Emmie, much loved father of Mark, Clodagh, Orla, Barry, Gareth and David. Predeceased by his sister Winifred and by his brother Tom. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by his sons and daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sister Joan Ann, treasured grandchildren, the extended Lloyd and Hoffmann families, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at the O'Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway on Friday, 22 December, 2023 from 4.30 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St. Ignatius Church, Sea Road, Galway on arrival at 11.00 a.m. on Saturday, 23 December. After Mass Eddie will be laid to rest with his beloved Emmie in Rahoon Cemetery.
