Eamon McSweeney passed away peacefully Saturday 3rd August 2024
16 Suan, Headford Road, Galway, and formerly of Clonkeen, Killarney, Co.Kerry, and Knockmaskehill, Glenamaddy, Co.Galway .
Predeceased by his parents Michael and Ellen, brothers William, John, and Patrick and sisters Eileen and Hannah (McCarthy).Beloved husband of Annie and dearly loved father of Kathleen, Eileen, Michael, Luke, and Ann. Sadly missed by his heartbroken family, 13 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, sons-in-law Gerry, daughters-in-law Jean and Martina, brother Michael (Killarney), nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours, and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Conneely’s Funeral Home, Flood Street, Galway (H91 A786) on Tuesday, 6th August, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, 7th August, in Ballinfoyle Church at 11 a.m. Eamon will be laid to rest afterwards in Renville Cemetery.
Donations, if desired, to Palliative Care UHG or Bushfield Nursing Home.
