(retired Garda Superintendent), Rathfarnham, Dublin and Monivea, Co. Galway, died peacefully surrounded by his family after a short illness, in the tender and dignified care of the ICU Doctors, Nurses and support staff of St Vincent's University Hospital on the 24th September 2024. Beloved husband of Marian, cherished son of Madge and his late father Mickie. Loving and proud father of Darrelle, Paul and daughter in law, Aisling and doting grandad to his beautiful grandson Cian.

 

Sadly missed by his loving family, his brothers Joe, Padraig and Michael F, his sisters Annette and Nuala, his brothers-in-law Thomas, Sean, Jimmy, Pat and Peter, sisters-in-law Chrissie, Brid, Nellie, Helen, Eileen, Antoinette and Breda, his many nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

 

Rest in Peace

 

Reposing at his home on Thursday evening, the 26th September, between 5pm and 8pm. Removal on Friday morning to the Church of St John the Evangelist, Ballinteer, Dublin for Funeral Mass at 10 am followed by burial in Monivea Cemetery, Galway Road, Monivea, Co Galway (H65XA09), expected arrival time 4pm. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to St Vincent's University Hospital https://www.stvincentsfoundation.ie/donate/.
