Murphy, nee Goggins, Margaret Philomena (Phil), Culliagh North, Abbeyknockmoy, Tuam, Co. Galway. 8th December 2024. Peacefully at University Hospital Galway, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Jimmy, daughter Julianna, son-in-law Ciarán Glynn, her parents Hanoria and Patrick Goggins, brothers Josie, Michael, Tommy and Paddy, and her sister Mary Brannelly.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her heartbroken family, sons Francis, Eamonn and Cyril, her daughters Rosemary (Murtagh), Anne (Glynn) and Siobhan (O’Connor), sons-in-law Ronan and Ken, daughter-in-law Anne Marie, grandchildren Auveen, Cathal, Anna, Grace, Ruth, Proinnsias, Eamon, James, great grandchild Sam, her brother Tony, sisters-in-law Maura Murphy and Kathleen Maher, nephews, nieces, relatives and a large circle of friends.

May Phil’s gentle soul Rest in Peace

Phil will repose at Mannion’s Funeral Home (H54 RW94) on Tuesday, 10th December 2024 from 6pm until 8pm with removal afterwards to St. Bernard’s Church, Abbeyknockmoy (H54 KX60). Requiem Mass at 12 noon on Wednesday, 11th December, 2024 followed by burial in Abbeyknockmoy Cemetery.
