The death has occurred of Christina Maloney, née Faherty, Knocknacarra, Galway, formerly Drumaveg, Moycullen, Galway, March 7th, 2024, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in the care of the devoted staff at the Galway Hospice. Christina was predeceased by her parents Martin and Mary Faherty, sisters Gretta, Sally, and Mary Bridget, brothers Pete and Tom. Christina will be deeply missed by her loving husband and best friend Mathew, her loving son Aidan and daughter in-law June, grandchildren Eve and Rachel, brothers Sean, Martin, Padraic and Bernie and sister Anne, sisters in-law, adoring extended family of nieces and nephews, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at St. Anthony's Room, adjoining St. John the Apostle Church, Knocknacarra (H91 WOH4)on Sunday evening, 10th of March, from 7 o’clock with removal at 9pm to the adjoining church. Requiem Mass at St John the Apostle Church, Knocknacarra, at 12 Noon on Monday, the 11 th of March. Burial afterwards in Moycullen Cemetery.
