It is with deep sadness that Catherine's family shares the news of her death in the early hours of 26 January, 2024 at the Galway Hospice.

Dearly loved wife of Martin, much-loved and devoted mother to Gary, Tina, Colm, Angela, Jenny, Claire, Ellen and Karen and the proudest granny of 9 wonderful grandchildren.

Deeply mourned by her husband, sons and daughters and their partners; Gary's partner Mary, sons-in-law Joe and John, grandchildren Dominick, Joshua, Valentina, Kane, Ryan, Emily, Mikey, Hailey-Rose and Natalie. Very sadly missed also by her loving sisters Bernie, Teresa, Carmella and Suzanne, brothers Thomas and Diarmuid and by the extended Gordon and O'Neill family and friends.

Reposing at 'St. Anthony's' room within the Church of St. John the Apostle, Knocknacarra on Monday, 29 January, 2024, from 4.30 p.m. with Removal into the Church at 6 p.m. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Catherine on Tuesday, 30 January, at 11 a.m. Mass will be streamed on https://www.churchtv.ie/knocknacarra/.  Following Mass, Catherine will be laid to rest in Rahoon cemetery.

Catherine was devoted to the Divine Mercy,

her faith gave her courage to be self effacing and honest.

The following lines reflect her humble devotion.

"Put your hand in the hand of God

This will be far better than a Light

and safer than a known way"
