Billy died peacefully at home on Thursday 6 June, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his daughter Kathleen. Beloved husband of Kate and much loved father of John, James, Mary, Bridie, Ann, Marguerite and Patricia.

 

Deeply mourned and sadly missed by his wife and family, sister Mary, brothers Tommy, Jimmy and John, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, his adored grandchildren and great grandchildren, the extended Carr and Carrick family, neighbours and many friends, especially his friends in Mervue United F.C.

Reposing at the Church of the Holy Family, funeral parlour, Mervue, Galway H91 FH52, on Sunday 9 June, 2024 from 4.00 p.m. with Removal at 6.00 p.m. to the adjoining Church. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Billy at 11.00 a.m. on Monday 10 June. Following Mass he will be laid to rest in Rahoon cemetery.
