Who passed away peacefully, in the presence of his loving family, following a short illness borne with courage and dignity, on Tuesday 1st October 2024.
Predeceased by his parents Michael and Teresa, daughter Mary, granddaughter Emma.
Bernie will be forever missed by his loving wife and best friend Mary.
Bernie will be deeply mourned and missed by his son Liam, daughters Anna (Burke, Maree) and Máirín, twin sister Kathleen (Mills, Dublin), brothers Jim (James) (St. Clerans), Eugene (Tipperary) and Micheàl (Dublin), son-in-law William and daughter-in-law Ruth, grandchildren Ciara, Liam, Zara, Erin and Leah, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, wonderful neighbours and his many friends.
Bernie will lie in repose in Kilboy’s Funeral Home, Loughrea (H62 KF63), on Thursday 3rd October from 5pm to 7pm.
Bernie’s funeral cortege will arrive to the Church of the Holy Family, Clostoken (H62 NP26) for Requiem Mass on Friday 4th October at 12 noon, followed by burial in adjoining Cemetery.
