Who passed away peacefully on Saturday, 25th November 2023, surrounded by her loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff of the Galway Hospice Foundation.
Predeceased by her father Martin (Marty) and her grandson Henry.
Assumpta will be sadly missed by her heartbroken husband and best friend Tomás, her loving children Michelle, Derval, Cora and Emmett.
Assumpta will be deeply mourned by her loving mother Bridie and her brothers and sisters Marian, Breda, Sean, Emmet and Dermot, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and their partners, sons-in-law, grandchildren Ally, Kealan, Cara, JT, Sadie and Pearl, nephews, nieces, relatives, extended family, neighbours and her many friends.
Assumpta will lie in Repose in Kilboy’s Funeral Home (H62 KF63) on Tuesday, 28th November, from 5 –7pm.
Assumpta’s Requiem Mass will take place in St. Teresa’s Church, Castledaly, on Wednesday, 29th November, at 12pm, followed by private family cremation in Shannon Crematorium from 3-5pm.
