It is with deep sadness that the Killeen family share the news of Mary's death.
On Monday, 16 December 2024, Mary slipped away peacefully with her family by her side and in the wonderful care of Dr. Geraldine Maloney and her team in St. Patrick's ward and ICU at University Hospital Galway.
Pre-deceased by her late brothers and sister; Mick, Joan and Tom.
Mary will be forever missed by her adoring husband Sean, her loving sons and daughters Deirdre, Aoife, Paul and Barry and their husbands and partner; David, Ricardo and Martin.
Fondly remembered by her grandchildren; Eoin, Cormac, Niamh and Dara, her brothers and sisters; Bridget, Pat, John, Denis, Teresa and Frank, her nieces, nephews and sisters-in-law. Sadly missed also by the extended Keating and Killeen family, neighbours and many friends.
Reposing at the O'Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91 V1K8) on Thursday, 19 December 2024 from 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Removal after to the Church of Christ the King, Salthill, Galway. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Mary the following morning on Friday 20 December 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Following Mass she will be laid to rest in New Cemetery, Bohermore.
