Anne Shiel, Clonmoylan, Ballyshrule and also The Pines, Ballinasloe, passed away peacefully in the Galway Hospice, surrounded by her family, after a short illness bravely borne. Deeply regretted by her loving family, parents Margaret and Laurence, brother Michael, grand aunt Baby Murphy, aunts Anna Costelloe and Phil Hackett, uncles Johnny, Michael and Vincent Coughlan, Mary Shiel, her cousins especially Elaine and Claire, her work colleagues at Portiuncula Hospital, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at St. Mary's Funeral Home, Woodford (H62 YV04), on Saturday, May 18th, from 5 pm to 7 pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday at 11 am in St. Brendan's Church, Looscaun with burial afterwards in Abbey Cemetery. Funeral mass may be viewed live on https://churchmedia.tv/stbrendans
