Peacefully, in the wonderful care of the Staff of the Shannon Ward at the University Hospital Galway and surrounded by her loving family on the 16th September 2023.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Tommie, her parents Pat and Mary O’Brien, sister Molly (Kirwan) and brother Dan O’Brien.
Deeply regretted by her loving family, daughters Marie Fahy (Carnmore), Margaret Coady (New York), and Carmel (Dublin), her sons in law Joe, John and Carmel's partner Alan, grandsons Darren, Ciarán and Logan, great-grandchild Conal, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends, and her exceptional neighbours in Ranamacken.
Reposing at St Ignatius Funeral Home (H62 WY82) on Monday, 18th September, from 5p.m. to 7p.m. with removal afterwards to the Holy Family Church, Duniry. Requiem Mass will be held for Alice on Tuesday, 19th September, at 12p.m. Burial afterwards to the adjoining cemetery.
The funeral Mass will be live streamed via Abbey Duniry Facebook Page.
