Businesses supported by Údarás na Gaeltachta enjoyed a record-breaking year in 2024
Údarás companies achieved €1.1 billion in sales including €658m in exports - the highest sales in Údarás na Gaeltachta history.
Its end of year statement shows a four percent increase in job creation in the Galway Gaeltacht, with 354 new positions created.
Other highlights include a €7m investment in community development, and language plans being implemented in 28 Language Planning Areas.
Údarás also announced plans in 2024 to develop an Irish Language AI tool
