Plans are expected to be lodged tomorrow for the long-awaited Clifden Regeneration Plan - five years after funding was granted.
The development aims to transform the ‘capital of Connemara’ - creating a Harbour Park, Beach Road Quay and enhancing the town centre.
The plans will be available to view in Clifden Library, the local area office, or at County Hall - and submissions can be made until Friday, December 6th.
Fine Gael Councillor Eileen Mannion says Clifden is a popular tourist destination, and facilties need to keep up with that demand:
