Demand for action on outstanding pandemic payments owed to Portiuncula staff

Galway Bay fm newsroom – There’s a demand for accelerated action on delivering pandemic payments to contract staff at Portiuncula Hospital.

Senator Aisling Dolan has told the Seanad the catering and cleaning staff ARE eligible – but 18 months later, there’s still no sign of the payment.

She was advised that the HSE is still working through Cohort 3, which includes contract and agency staff.

But Senator Dolan argued it’s not good enough and something has to be done to accelerate the whole process.
