Permission granted for river walkway in Milltown

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Permission has been granted for a community river walkway in Milltown.

The walkway would run alongside the River Clare, starting from the public footpath at the bridge.

It would be 760m in length, with a 3m wide footpath with washed gravel finish, and would end in the grounds of Milltown GAA Club.

County planners have now approved the project with 10 conditions attached.
