Two Galway Referees Named on Championship and Christy Ring Panels

The GAA has confirmed its panels of referees for the 2016 Championship in Hurling and Gaelic Football. Two new referees have been included on the Championship panel – Kilkenny’s Sean Cleere (Hurling) and Cavan’s Noel Mooney (Gaelic Football).
Galway are represented by Rahoon/Newcastle duo Alan Kelly in the Hurling Championship Panel and John Keane in the Christy Ring and Linesmen Panel. No Galway Referee has made the football Championship referee’s panel.
