Galway Bay FM Newsroom – Farmers in Galway will be able to dispose of hazardous farm waste at a temporary bring centre next month.

The centre will be operated by the Environmental Protection Agency, Teagasc, the Department of Agriculture and the local authority working with recycling operators WEEE Ireland and European Recycling Platform.

Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture says it’s an opportunity for farmers to clean out stores and remove pesticides.

The bring centre will operate at Tuam Mart on Friday November 6th from 9.30am to 3.30p.m with a charge for pesticides and contaminated empty plastic containers.
