FYI Galway’s brand new Election Quickfire quiz sees your election candidates take on a series of random quickfire questions designed to help you to get to know them better.

The questions have been compiled by our news team from listeners’ suggestions, and each set of questions is randomly selected by a computer for each candidate.

They will be given 90 seconds to answer as many as possible – with no option to pass.

They have not seen the questions in advance.

Today, Galway West candidates Tommy Holohan (Anti Austerity Alliance/People Before Profit) and Catherine Connolly (Independent) take on the challenge.
