Plans submitted for upgrade of Ballygar wastewater treatment plant

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Plans have been submitted for a major upgrade of Ballygar’s wastewater treatment plant.

Irish Water is hoping to carry out construction and extension works at Killeroran.

It’ll involve the replacement of existing inlets, construction of a control building, a new settlement tank and interconnecting pipework.

County planners are due to make a decision in the coming weeks.
