Man due in court over Corrandulla drugs seizure

Galway Bay fm newsroom – A man is due to appear in court this morning (21/10) in connection with the seizure of more than a quarter of a million euro worth of cannabis in Corrandulla on Monday night.

Galway District Drugs Unit carried out a planned search of a house at Ballydonnellan, Corrandulla.

A man in his 30s was arrested at the scene and has been charged under Section 17 of the Drugs Trafficking Act in relation to cultivation.

He will appear before Galway District Court around 10.30 this morning.
