Gorse fores continue in the county

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Gorse fires are continuing in the county.

A blaze broke out in the Maam Cross area around 10 o’ clock last night.

Two units of the fire brigade from Clifden and An Cheathrú Rua attended the vegetation fire and brought it under control just before midnight.

No-one was injured in the incident.
