Galway United are out of the relegation places at the moment following their 2-1 win over Sligo Rovers on Friday Night.
Two goals in the space of a minute from Enda Curran and an excellent rearguard action kept Sligo at bay and moved United six points clear of bottom placed Limerick who they play next Friday.
