Appeal for witnesses as motorcyclist hospitalised following Mervue crash

Galway Bay fm newsroom – A man has been taken to University Hospital Galway following a road traffic crash in Mervue.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened at the junction of Walter Macken Road and the Ballybane road around 8 this morning.
The crash involved a car and a motorbike.
Emergency Services attended the scene and the motorcyclist was subsequently taken to UHG.
The extent of his injuries are not yet known and anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Mill Street Garda Station at 091-538000.
