4 per cent increase in Galway house prices

Galway Bay fm newsroom – House prices in Galway rose by over 4 per cent this year.

The average price of a 4 bed semi-detached home in the city currently stands at just under 200 thousand euro.

House prices in Dublin fell by over 6 per cent this year, the average home there now costs 332 thousand euro.

Values in the commuter counties have grown by almost 5 per cent over the past 12-months.

The biggest upsurges this year have been outside Dublin with prices in Cork, Galway, Limerick and Waterford all going up between 1 and 4 per cent.
