160 new jobs for the city to be announced shortly

Galway Bay fm newsroom – It’s expected that 160 new jobs will be announced for the city in the next hour. (17/5)

The US online homewares retailer Wayfair is opening a new 30 thousand square foot facility on the Tuam Road, to replace its previous base at Mervue Business Park.

The roles will include customer service, sales, finance, training and IT services.

Wayfair already employs 200 people in Galway.
