Galway Bay fm newsroom – An average of 13 people have been caught drink driving in the city every month this year.
New Garda figures reveal that since January, 105 people have been caught driving under the influence.
Gardai have carried out 659 alcohol checkpoints so far this year.
During these operations, 3660 breath tests were performed.
